Downtown Murray’s used, vintage, and rare bookshop

What to expect on your first visit to Bolin Books

When you walk in, you can ask for a short tour or recommendation or begin browsing on your own. We aim to carry everything of interest to our community.

Lobby

Our lobby is home to monthly featured sections and new arrivals to the store as well as our lovingly built book arch. We also have a section dedicated to books by Wesley's father, James Duane Bolin, who passed away in August 2022.

Fiction

Walk into the fiction room and find young adult, science fiction/fantasy, comics, graphic novels, manga, contemporary fiction, thrillers, romance, historical fiction, and cookbooks. Our first room is also home to many vintage and finely bound books in addition to our collection of vintage mass market paperbacks.

Children’s

Our second room houses all of our books for children and middle grade readers, including board books, middle grade graphic novels, and classic series. We love to see children sitting at the family-made table coloring pages or sitting in the corner chair reading with a parent or grandparent.

Non-Fiction

The final room at Bolin Books holds classics and non-fiction, with sections dedicated to history, science, memoir and biography, gardening, outdoors, self-help, and religion. Our poetry, theater, and music collections are housed here as well, along with multiple cozy chairs so you can sit and peruse your selections.

Parking

Street parking is free and widely available around Bolin Books.

Find street parking on Main Street, 4th Street, or 3rd Street or public parking on the court square or in the public lot on Main Street nearby.

There are 100 free parking spaces within a one-minute walk of the bookstore.
